Waiting too long for parent/ contributory parent visa?
It is to avoid delays in visa decision, DOHA (Department of Home Affairs) recommends to submit decison-ready Assurance of Support (AoS) claims to Department of Human Services(DHS).
This is only after;
You get DOHA’s letter to visa applicant advising that an Assurance of Support is required.
So until you get the initial assessment which take quite long, you need to wait but once you are asked to provide AoS then you need to apply it with complete documents.
