Point test for qualification has following points;

How about a qualification which is not closely related occupation?
YES.
Applicant’s highest level educational qualification should be considered even if it is not related to the nominated or closely related occupation.
Applicants can have their qualification assessed by VETASSESS as to the comparability of their qualification to Australian standards for the purpose of awarding points.
At last, case officers must assess the qualification claims and should take into consideration including information available on Country Education Profiles, advice from AEI – NOOSR and any other relevant evidence provided by the applicant.
