Active cases
Out of total active 66,547 cases, migration related cases are 41,261 cases. 40% are from NSW region and 33% are from VIC region. Student cases are 4,565 consist of 31% of the migration cases.
Decisions
Out of total 12,355 decisions, decision regarding student refusal are 4,040 (33%) and 947 cases (23%) out of 4,040 are set aside decision.
Processing times for decisions
Student visa refusal cases takes average 535 days to median 568 days (around 17-18 months).
