491 SWR Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa
This visa is replacing current 489 visa from 16/11/2019. Followings are quick points for 491 SWR visa.
-5 years visa
-Replace 489 Skilled Regional Visa
-Suitable skills assessment for highly skilled migrants
-Under 45 years at the time of invitation
-Two invitation pathways: State/Territory nominated or Family sponsored (15 points)
-Family: up to first cousin (Applicant or spouse’s) who resides i a regional area + 18 yrs old
-Partner points, Single 10 points, Partner with English 5 points, Partner with English and Skill 10 points
-Application fees: Primary applicant: $4045 (+18 $2023, -18 $1010) $4890 for Functional English

191 Skilled Regional: PR Pathway
This is for Skilled Regional visa holders from 16/11/2019 for their Permanent Residency pathway.
-From 16/11/2022
-Applicant must have held regional provisional visa (491 or 494) for at least 3 years
-Can apply 189/190 after three years if invited
-Must have earned minimum taxable income for three years (TBD)
-Meet conditions to live, work and study in a designated regional area of Australia
